From Garden Obsession to Bee Native Nursery

I didn’t set out to start a nursery. I set out to grow plants and somewhere along the way, the plants helped me grow.  

I’ve been gardening for over a decade, and what began as a simple hobby slowly became something deeper. Gardening became my quiet place. My grounding force. When life felt loud or overwhelming, the garden offered peace, patience, and perspective. Over time, that love turned into a full-blown obsession, the good kind. An obsession rooted in curiosity, learning, and an ever-growing respect for the natural world.

Years of trial, error, observation, and hands-in-the-soil experience helped me fine-tune my growing methods. Season after season, I learned what truly works, not just for plants, but for the ecosystems they support. That passion is what eventually grew into Bee Native Nursery.

Every plant offered through Bee Native Nursery is grown in-house, from the very beginning. Nothing is mass-produced or rushed. Each plant is nurtured with intention, properly hardened, and cared for as it grows. Whether your plants are shipped straight to your door or picked up locally, you’re receiving something raised with care, not convenience.

Our focus is native plants, because they belong here. Native plants create resilient, low-maintenance landscapes while providing critical ecological benefits. 

I believe gardens can be beautiful and meaningful. They can bring peace to the gardener and purpose to the land. They can support bees, butterflies, birds, and still stop you in your tracks with their beauty

Bee Native Nursery exists to help Texans create landscapes that are alive and full of movement, blooms, and life. Gardens that work with nature instead of against it and that tell a story  while giving back.

This nursery is the result of years of passion, quiet mornings in the garden, dirt-stained hands, and a deep belief that native plants can change how we connect to the land around us.
